Bachelors or AS in horticulture/Floriculture or Biology related field.

" Constant care and monitoring of range for optimum plant quality, climate and placement
" Responsible for all aspects of growing, including watering, fertilizing, spraying and testing
" Develop/document high quality standards for consistently growing plants using computer database
" Conduct trials and experiments to evaluate possible improvements and variations to the plants
" Perform/track soil, water, disease tests as needed
" Identify, track and control insects
" Assist in the development and implementation of specific fertilization programs
" Interact and communicate with growing team, sales and landscaping departments
" Identify plant problems and determine a solutions
