Top Construction Management Company in Boston currently seeking Infrastructure Engineer. This company has competitive pay and excellent full benefits package.
Engineer will focus on many infrastructure technologies such as Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, SharePoint, Cisco and Symantec to name a few. This person will work closely with decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions. The engineer will participate in jobsite technology delivery, end user help of applications and tools and mobilization and demobilization of jobsites in the related geographic area. The Engineer role works in close partnership with other IT team members to help evangelize the use of many different technologies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree related to Computer Science, Business or Information Systems preferred.
Understanding of VMware or server virtualization.
Good working knowledge of network operating systems, commands, and facilities.
Experience with security software and facilities.
Ability to independently resolve complex problems, provide documentation, guidance and instruction to users, at all levels
Good working knowledge of applicable networking utilities including Wi-Fi survey tools.
Ability to set and change priorities amongst multiple competing constituencies.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Skills/Tools:
Networking: CCNA or greater Cisco Experience.
Performance and Measurement: Solarwinds, VKernel vOps
Web Technologies: Apache Web services and Load Balancing
OS: Windows 2008, Windows 7
Virtualization Technologies: VMWare, Citrix
