Large Commercial General Contractor seeks the following:
ESTIMATOR
The Estimator is responsible for generating all estimating deliverables. Our projects include: Hi Rise, Governmental Facilities, Education, Entertainment, Condo, Healthcare, Schools. Required experience with projects listed above and over 80MM on the General Contracting side.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years estimating experience on projects having estimated costs over 80MM. Estimating experience from conceptual thru construction document phases required.
Knowledge of Timberline software, Microsoft Excel, and Word preferable.
Responsibilities: Office responsibilities include, but are not limited to: generating estimating deliverables, ability to develop accurate conceptual cost models, understanding construction methods, productivity, equipment, systems and materials, keep track of current material & labor pricing including escalation, maintain relationships with subcontractors & material vendors, make meaningful value engineering contributions, ability to reconcile estimates with other consultants & design team, generating sound documentation for scope of work assumed in estimates, maintaining a well organized approach & disciplined work ethic.
Education Requirement:
The successful candidate should have sufficient work related experience. A BS or MS [Engineering / Construction Management] graduate would be favorable.
