QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and/or Experience
Graduate of an AMA approved radiologic technology program
Must be familiar with the principals and practices of Radiation Technology as outline by the State of Iowa Health and Human Services
Certificates, Licensure, Registrations
Currently licensed in the State of Iowa
Currently registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Basic Life Support (BLS) (or willing to obtain within 60 days of employment)
Mandatory Reporter of Iowa Certificates (Dependent Adult and Child Abuse) (or willing to obtain within 60 days of employment)
Advanced Modality experience and certification preferred
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Responsible for ADVANCING EXCEPTIONAL CARE by providing expert diagnostic radiological imaging and computed tomographic procedures to assure a high level of quality care and service to patients, physicians and customers in and outside the radiology department. Performs a variety of procedures requiring some independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis in accordance with the philosophy, goals and objectives of Clarinda Regional Health Center.
